COURSE DESCRIPTION
Sport (Football Academy) BTEC Level 3: which would be done on the basis of the Shipley College Guiseley AFC Football Academy that would help to attain qualified footballers which can pursue the interest in the academic study. With the blend of the course within the progress in football, can be done through playing or coaching. It would be done on the daily basis of the practice and develop skills to be attained in the practical & theoretical coaching along with securing training techniques. It would be done with the help of the opportunity to play and also secure a Conference Youth Alliance or English Colleges FA leagues. Within the College one can secure knowledge and understanding dependent and based on the leadership and coaching skills required for the sporting abilities. It covers all the modules and the subjects such as the training & fitness along with the nutrition for sport and also the fitness testing, finally the principles of sports coaching, work experience or the other subjects in the business in sport, sports psychology and sports development. One has to procure College sportswear and buy the football kit, boots, and trainers.

ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, would be judged within the English & maths. If at all one does not have a secured grade 4 (C) or above to be completed within the minimum subject to be secured at a grade 3 (D).orA full Level 2 and it would be aimed to Pass grade or above with maths and English grades to be attained at an equal level. .** Students with grade 3 (D) would be secured at subjects of English or maths would have to secure a re-take subject in Year 1. Finally, in the end, a football trial would be recommended by Guiseley AFC Head Youth Coach.
