COURSE DESCRIPTION
Applied Science - BTEC Level 2 Diploma:

Learners aged 16-18 and wanted to work in applied science industry can take up this practical course. It has the same values as 4 GCSEs achieved between grades A* and E and also will improve your scientific skills in this field. You will learn about principles in science and 4 specialist units like physical science, environmental science, forensics, anatomy, plants and food and finally, science in medicine.

You are expected to complete assignments and projects in real time environments and needs. However, you will acquire specialist skills by focusing on a specific area. There are 3 core units as well as optional units thereby combining to 60 credits.

ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You need to have at least 2 GCSEs in grade 3/D or complete an equivalent Level 1 course with reading and writing skills in English at levels 1 to 2.
