Games Art BTEC Level 3

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Games Art BTEC Level 3:

The course concentrates mainly on skills in the field of games art. With a chance to learn the visual aspect of games, you can also acquire specialist skills needed to succeed in digital and creative industries.

Students are expected to complete multiple individual and group assignments and also create a strong portfolio to support this study and apply for new employment opportunities. There are written assignments, discussions, assessment of portfolios and group activities meant to assess your knowledge and skills.

Upon completion, learners get into HNC in the same field or multiple roles in games industry like character/games designer, games artist, developer and concept artist.

ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
It is essential for learners to possess at least 5 GCSEs with grades like - maths (3), English(4) and above or 3 GCSEs with grades that are 5 and above.
